Good Groceries is pleased to accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Oregon Trail EBT cards and/or Farm Direct Nutrition Program (FDNP) vouchers!
SNAP/Oregon Trail EBT
The Oregon Trail EBT card may be used any time of the year for food items at Good Groceries. Select "Delivery" for your county as your order type, and "Pay at Delivery" for your payment type. In the comments field of your order, enter code GGSNAP to waive your delivery fee and activate Double Up Food Bucks (see below).
SNAP may not be used to purchase anything in the Pet Treats or Home & Bath sections of the store. You are welcome to use a secondary payment method (Venmo, check, cash, or Buckskin Bucks [no change given; no credit cards]) for these items.
SNAP EBT customers must be present to receive their delivery, to present your EBT card and enter your own PIN. A Good Groceries delivery person will never ask you for your PIN. Therefore, the pickup sites are not available.
Double Up 50% Discount
Good Groceries is enrolled in Farmers Market Fund's Double Up Food Bucks ("Double Up") program, which increases a SNAP customer's buying power by giving a 50% discount on eligible items: "fresh, dried, or frozen whole or cut fruits and vegetables without added sugars, fats, oils, or salt. This includes mushrooms, fresh herbs, dried beans, and food-producing plants and seeds."
Your invoice will show the discount in the Invoice Notes section.
Farm Direct Nutrition Program (FDNP)
FDNP vouchers, available from June through November from the State of Oregon, may be used to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs only. FDNP vouchers are issued in $4 increments, and Good Groceries is not allowed to give change. All other purchases must be paid with another payment method (Venmo, check, cash, or Buckskin Bucks [no change given]).
More information about SNAP is available on the Oregon DHS website. Info about the FDNP program is available on the Oregon Health Authority website. Learn more about Double Up (including an instructional video in numerous languages) on the Double Up Oregon website.
Please see the "When will I get my order?" page for information about delivery time and service area.
