Iliana Maura

Iliana Maura comes from a family of experienced cooks and bakers.  Fresh out of college, Iliana was one of the first entrepreneurs to start a line of fruit juice-sweetened cookies.  She donated part of her profits from each sale towards helping animals.  Her four flavors of gourmet cookies caught on quickly, were sold throughout California and ultimately gained national distribution. 

Passion for a healthy lifestyle and her love of animals and natural sustainability have always been a big part of who Iliana is.

About our packaging:  We use recyclable materials.  Our iconic goddess logo, with plant-leaves for her hair, and in a blissful, meditative state, is inspired by the divineness in us all.  She symbolizing the harmonious state of inner and outer joy, truth and beauty. 

The world "Iliana" means "light", and is derived from the Greek word "Helios", which means "sun".  Helen of Troy was named after the word Helios, which also gives our brand some awesome, powerful energy behind it, which just makes it that much better.
